I am Chufiya Begum Mazumder, working as a Jeevika Sakhi under the
Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM). My mission is to empower rural
women of Assam through Self Help Groups (SHGs), financial literacy,
digital empowerment, and sustainable community development.

About Me
I, Chufiya Begum Mazumder, belong to Silchar, Assam and serve as a
Jeevika Sakhi under the Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM).
My role is to connect Self Help Groups (SHGs) with government schemes,
promote women empowerment, and encourage digital literacy in rural communities.
Through my work, I aim to uplift women by improving their skills,
enhancing their livelihood opportunities, and guiding them towards financial independence.
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY)
DDU-GKY is a flagship skill training and placement program of the
Government of India under the Ministry of Rural Development.
It provides free training, certification, and job placement support for rural youth.
I, Chufiya Begum Mazumder, am actively working with DDU-GKY in Berenga, Silchar,
registering and mobilizing young people so they can access better livelihood opportunities.

Village in Silchar, Cachar District, Assam. Population across parts: ~4,353 in Berenga Pt II, ~2,289 in Berenga Pt V. Literacy rates are high in some areas (92%+), showing strong potential.

Youth register through Kaushal Panjee (DDU-GKY Skill Register Portal).
As a mobilizer, I guide candidates, help fill forms, and connect them to training centers for skill development.
